Definitions

Processing – means an operation or a set of operations performed on personal data or sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

Personal data – any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name and surname, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

Information on the processing of your personal data

Purposes and legal basis of processing
    We process your personal data for the following purposes:
  • registration of an account on the website www.teamplast.pl – pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR;
  • if you purchase a product offered by us – for purposes related to handling the transaction and fulfilling legal obligations – pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR;
  • receiving information from us, e.g. about current promotions (to your e-mail address) – pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR;
  • receiving information about joint offers from Team-Plast and our partners (to your e-mail address) – pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR;
  • analytical purposes, including tailoring services to our customers’ needs; optimising our products based on your feedback, interests and application technical logs; optimising service processes based on sales and after-sales service processes, including complaints – which constitutes our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR;
  • processing geolocation information in connection with presenting offers – pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR;
  • profiling for the purpose of adjusting offers – which constitutes our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (detailed information below);
  • handling complaints – pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR;
  • securing potential claims – pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR.
Data retention period
  • registration of an account on www.teamplast.pl – until an objection to processing is raised or a request for data erasure is submitted;
  • purchases in our store and related obligations (e.g. complaint handling, financial reporting) – for 5 years from the end of the financial year;
  • information about events (including promotions) sent to your e-mail address – until consent is withdrawn;
  • information regarding joint offers of Team-Plast and its partners – until consent is withdrawn;
  • use of geolocation in connection with presenting offers – until consent is withdrawn;
  • profiling for the purpose of tailoring offers – until consent is withdrawn;
  • securing potential claims – until the expiry of limitation periods in accordance with the Civil Code.
Categories of personal data processed
    We will process the following categories of your data:
  • basic identification data;
  • electronic identification data;
  • electronic location data;
  • consumer behaviour data;
  • residence-related data;
  • technology usage data.
Data recipients Personal data may be disclosed to employees or associates of Team-Plast, as well as to entities providing us with support services – on the basis of commissioned services and in accordance with data processing agreements. Your personal data may be shared with subcontractors, i.e. entities used by us in data processing, such as: accounting firms, law firms, telecommunications operators, debt collection companies, banks, postal operators, carriers, companies printing or handling correspondence, business information bureaux, document archiving companies, customer satisfaction research companies, partners providing technical services (e.g. development and maintenance of IT systems and websites), as well as other recipients: entities from our capital group whose offer complements ours, business partners whose offer complements ours, and business partners participating in loyalty programmes.
Transfer of data to third countries or international organisations Your personal data will not be transferred outside Poland / the European Union / the European Economic Area.
Your rights
    You have the right to:
  • access your personal data and obtain a copy thereof;
  • rectify (correct) your data;
  • erase your data – if, in your opinion, there are no grounds for us to process them;
  • restrict processing – you may request that we restrict processing of your personal data solely to storage or agreed activities if the data is inaccurate, processed unlawfully, needed to establish, pursue or defend claims, or for the duration of an objection;
  • object to processing:
    • Marketing objection – you have the right to object to processing for direct marketing purposes; upon objection, processing for this purpose will cease;
    • Objection due to a particular situation – you may object to processing based on legitimate interests for purposes other than direct marketing, or where processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest. You should indicate your specific situation justifying the objection. We will cease processing unless we demonstrate overriding legitimate grounds or the necessity of processing for claims;
  • data portability – you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format (e.g. “.csv”) and to have it transmitted to another controller;
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, currently: Office of the General Inspector for Personal Data Protection ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw In the near future, this will be the President of the Personal Data Protection Office or another competent authority. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to its withdrawal. Profiling Based on historical information such as selected products, promotions used, materials viewed on teamplast.pl, and information provided in your profile, we may automatically present you with a personalised offer, including information about products and promotions that may interest you in the future, as well as personalised website content.
Voluntary provision of data
    Providing your data is:
  • a condition for concluding a contract;
  • a condition for contacting you in order to present an offer or provide marketing information;
  • voluntary.
    If you do not provide your data:
  • we may refuse to conclude a contract;
  • we will not present offers or send marketing information.
Source of data Your data was obtained from forms completed by you (in writing or electronically), direct conversations with you (including by phone), traditional correspondence, or e-mail communication.
