Windows in the Team Select system meet the highest standards of thermal insulation. They achieve a heat transfer coefficient of Uf 0.89 W/(m²·K) in the central gasket system and 1.0 W/(m²·K) in the compression gasket system, without the use of supporting elements such as steel with a thermal break. This places them among the top energy-efficient joinery products, making them suitable for installation in buildings with enhanced energy standards.
Such excellent thermal performance is ensured by the six-chamber profile construction, a profile depth of 82.5 mm in both the frame and sash, and an intelligent three-plane gasket arrangement system. An added gasket installed in the glazing rebate and the use of IKD® thermal core technology, which fills one chamber in the frame with insulating material, create an effective barrier against chilly air from the outside. Deeper glass installation with a raised glazing bead also cuts thermal bridges. The system is designed to accommodate a warm triple-glass unit.
Stability
The Team Select system is highly stable, making it resistant to mechanical stress while staying extremely durable. The window’s structural integrity is enhanced by STV® technology, which bonds the glass directly to the sash with a double-sided adhesive tape (dry installation). This transfers the glass surface’s static load to the sash, resulting in a more stable overall system.
Team Select windows are not only structurally robust but also colour stable. Acrycolor technology ensures a perfectly smooth surface and consistent colour over the years. The profiles are coated with a layer approximately 0.5 mm thicker than foil or paint finishes, making them easy to clean, scratch-resistant, and resistant to flaking or chipping.

With a best installation depth of 82.5 mm, the system allows for a wide range of design options, including windows, entrance doors, and HST sliding systems.
