Team Select Slide lift-and-slide doors provide maximum thermal insulation, achieving a Uf value of up to 0.89 W/(m²·K) with the central gasket system, and 1.0 W/(m²·K) with the compression gasket system, without relying on supplementary elements such as steel with thermal breaks. This outstanding thermal performance is ensured by the six-chamber profile design, an installation depth of 82.5 mm in both the frame and sash, and an intelligent three-plane gasket system. An added gasket installed in the glazing rebate, along with the IKD® thermal core technology—which fills one chamber in the frame with insulating material—effectively blocks chilly air infiltration. Deeper glazing supported by a raised glazing bead further cuts thermal bridges. The system is also compatible with warm triple-glazed units.

Team Select Slide doors allow for a variety of design options tailored to specific project concepts. For example, an innovative designer version can replace a standard sash with a fully glazed profile, increasing the glass-to-frame ratio and allowing more natural light into the interior. This ensures well-lit rooms while keeping the system’s excellent thermal performance.
The Team Select Slide system also offers multiple design choices, including classic white or single- and double-sided decorative finishes. Acrycolour technology guarantees a perfectly smooth surface and long-lasting colour stability. The profiles are coated with a layer approximately 0.5 mm thicker than conventional foil or paint, making them easy to clean, scratch-resistant, and impervious to peeling or chipping.
Stability
Team Select Slide doors are highly stable and resistant to mechanical stress, ensuring long-term durability. Their structural rigidity is enhanced by STV® technology, which bonds the glass directly to the sash using double-sided adhesive tape. This transfers the load of the glass to the sash, significantly improving overall stability.
