Light and Space
Glass partition walls are one of today’s leading interior design trends, allowing spaces to be visually enlarged, attractively divided, and opened up to natural light. Internal glazing does not require thermal insulation; instead, acoustic performance and fire safety are key considerations. The MB-45D and MB-45 Office partition wall systems have been specialised solutions, such as the MB-45D smoke-proof partitions and doors, as well as the MB-45S rebated doors.
Both systems are perfectly suited for the installation of partitions in tall interior spaces. They divide the space using lightweight yet robust glazed elements. A distinguishing feature of the MB-45 system is the ability to use toughened glass as a load-bearing element. The system is particularly recommended for constructing partitions in conference rooms and office spaces with clearly defined door sections. Such partitions are both lightweight and durable. The system can be used to create fixed internal walls as well as fully glazed door leaves (hinged and swing).
Design Flexibility
The MB-45 and MB-45 Office system allow spaces to be divided freely according to a wide range of design concepts. A construction depth of 45mm and a glazing range of 2-25mm provide significant flexibility for implementing various architectural ideas.
The MB-45 and MB-45 Office systems are fully compatible with each other. They share identical depths for all frames and mullions, allowing profiles from both systems to b combined almost without limitation. The MB-45 Office system is particularly suitable for interior layout modifications, enabling connections to be dismantled and reassembled, for example to change the partition angle or its function. The system is based on a few core profiles which, when combined with the appropriate adaptive profiles, can function as window frames, door frames, transoms, or mullions. It is compatible with hinges, locks, and door closers from Aluprof, Gaze, and WSS.
