High Quality, Better Savings
The better the thermal insulation of windows and doors, the greater the savings they can generate through reduced heating costs. The MB-86 system allows you to optimise these savings by offering three levels of thermal protection:
M-86 ST
A system with thermal insulation coefficient from 1.39 W/m²K for windows and 2.16 W/m²K for doors.
These parameters meet the requirements for standard aluminium window and door systems.
M-86 SI
A system with thermal insulation coefficient starting from 092 W/m²K for windows and 1.76 W/m²K for doors. (1.49 W/m²K in the M-86 SI+ version)
These values make the system suitable for use in buildings with enhanced energy performance. According to EU regulations, from 2021 onwards, the heat transfer coefficient to façade windows must not exceed 0.9 W/m²K. Therefore, The MB-86 SI window system offers insulation parameters close to the new energy efficiency standards set out in EU legislation.
M-86 AERO
A system with thermal insulation coefficient starting from 0.57 W/m²K for windows and 1.22 W/m²K for doors. Such excellent performance makes the system ideal for energy efficient buildings.
The high thermal insulation of MB-86 aluminium window and door structures results not only from the use of aerogel as an insulating material, but also from wide, newly shaped thermal breaks that allow the addition of an extra barrier withing the insulation zone of the profiles. A two-component central gasket ensures precise sealing and thermal insulation between the sash and the frame.
Strength and Aesthetics
Windows and doors in the MB-86 system are characterised by the high strength of their aluminium profiles, allowing for the fabrication of large and heavy constructions. Frames made from this system’s components are exceptionally durable, thanks in part to the wide range of available profile selections. The MB-86 system enables the design of both classic windows and bespoke glazed structures of various dimensions.
Windows can be tailored to a wide range of architectural styles thanks to the use of glazing beads available in three design options: Standard, Prestige and Style.
The profile geometry has been designed to accommodate different typed of perimeter fittings, including concealed hinges. Within the system a wide range of glazing options can be used including double-chamber, acoustic and burglar-resistant glass as well as panel doors in multiple aesthetic variants.
